Most commonly PSL prints to standard ink jet and laser
printers. When ink jet and laser printers are used,
labels and signs print on MaxiSoft® Media, the
line of adhesive-backed vinyl sheets. These sheets
were developed to optimize both the print quality
and durability of labels produced with ink jet and
laser printers. The adhesive-backing is very aggressive.
MaxiSoft® Media with adhesive backing plus vinyl
base material, makes the sheets suitable for producing
indoor and outdoor labels.
Since
the layouts and sizes of product safety labels is
so varied, labels print on blank white sheets of Media.
To create full-color labels, a color printer is needed.
However, MaxiSoft® pre-printed media (sign blanks
and Right-To-Know label blanks) can be used with PSL
Software, if signs and labels are formatted accordingly.
There are other more customized printing possibilities
for Product Safety Label™ and Sign Making Software.
Depending on your specific labeling needs and volume,
other solutions are available. It is possible to print
labels on dye sublimation, plotters, direct thermal,
thermal transfer and other printers. For more information
on additional printing possiblilities, contact MaxiSoft®
at help@maxisoft.com.
