Wins Compliance Magazine 2006 Best Safety Software Award
Somerset, Wisconsin- K-Sun Corporation announced today its
MaxiSoft® MaxiSigns® V.2 Safety and Facility Sign Making
Software won the Compliance Magazine 2006 Commitment to Worker
Safety Award.
Presented at the National Safety Congress Expo
in San Diego this morning, the award recognizes MaxiSoft® MaxiSigns®V.2
as the best and most innovative identification software for
creating safety and security signs, saving lives and preventing
injuries. A panel of impartial industry experts evaluated
each entry based on innovation, impact on worker safety,
and ease of use.
MaxiSoft® MaxiSigns®V.2 is a Windows® compatible
program that sets the new standards for safety, Homeland
Security, ISO harmonized signs and labels, lockout tags,
laboratory placards and general facility signs. The software
contains 2,700 ready to print safety signs that comply with
ANSI Standards and OSHA Regulations in English, Spanish,
or Canadian French. Signs can be custom designed and printed
in almost any language with the appropriate fonts installed.
Enhanced features include rich text formatting, 580 new Homeland
Security Symbols, electric arc and laser signs, importable
symbols in BMP, JPEG, WMF, and TIFF formats, 1,200 pictographs,
120 IMO signs, 100 ISO 3864-1 symbols are just some of the
new innovations now available. What’s more, the new award
recognizes MaxiSigns®V.2 the easiest software programs to
use.
With MaxiSigns® V.2 users can now design and print a
safety sign in seconds on their own printer at a fraction
of the cost of conventional signage. This greatly improves
safety by reducing downtime, improves consistency from sign
to sign and helps with design regulations.
