| Once your
signs are printed, MaxiSoft® recommends laminating
one or both sides of your sign depending on the usage
and mounting requirements. If you intend to mount
the sign to a rigid sign board, then one side lamination
is all that is needed. Lamination will increase the
durability, UV protection and appearance of your
sign. Most ink jet images will smear if exposed to
moisture. Therefore, lamination of ink jet images
is strongly recommended. Laser printed signs are
more durable and water resistant and may not have
to be laminated depending on the location and usage.
Lamination will still protect the laser sign from
UV exposure, dirt, chemicals, abrasion and moisture
while adding a more professional appearance. MaxiSoft® offers
two lamination methods depending on your needs and
budget. The easiest and fastest method is hand lamination
sheets. For thicker and more rigid lamination, MaxiSoft® offers
a heat lamination machine with special lamination
pouches in a variety of thickness and sizes. To mount
signs for a more permanent presentation, MaxiSoft® offers
rigid sign boards in clear or opaque white acrylic
material that is pre-drilled.
